NC Electric & Solar is a family-owned electrical and solar contractor based in Antioch. 25+ years in the trade, and a licensed California contractor since 2016.
The short version
Roberto has been doing electrical work for more than twenty-five years. The company has been a licensed California contractor since 2016, holding CSLB C-10 License #1017350 — and it is still small enough that the person who quotes your job is involved in doing it.
That is the whole pitch, really. There is no call center and no commissioned sales team. When you call, you get someone who knows what is happening on your project, and the overhead that a national installer builds into every quote simply is not there.
We are passionate about helping people with their projects, and there is real satisfaction in exceeding what a customer expected. We will also take on the strange jobs — the layouts other companies said could not be done — as long as the city inspector will approve the work.

We look at the actual job
Quotes come after a site visit, not off satellite imagery. That is how the electrical work a project needs shows up in the price rather than in a change order.
We tell you what we find
If a repair is cheaper than a replacement, we say so. If your roof should be redone before panels go on it, we say that too — even though it delays the job.
We never resell your information
No auto-texts, no drip campaigns, no selling your inquiry to three other companies. In this industry that is unusual, which is exactly why we put it in writing.
Electrical first
We are a C-10 electrical contractor that installs solar, not a solar company that subcontracts the electrical work. It is the reason difficult jobs go smoothly.
We take the odd jobs
Complicated rooflines, detached structures, orphaned systems, and layouts other companies turned down — if the inspector will pass it, we will look at it.
Local, and staying that way
Based in Antioch and working within about 100 miles. Small enough to answer the phone, close enough to come back if you need us.
